Royal Cargo Moves World's Largest, Heaviest Autoclaves

Royal Cargo with Biggest Heaviest Autoclave in the World

Royal Cargo’s Projects and Heavylift (PHL) team made local and global construction history when it transported and installed two of the world’s biggest and heaviest autoclaves in Taganito, Surigao in partnership with ALE Malaysia and Abu Dhabi, and EEI.

The autoclaves weigh 977 tons and are 41.947 meters long, 8.0 meters wide and 8.02 meters high. The previous biggest and heaviest autoclave transported and installed in the world was 765 tons. An 80-line Self Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT) was used for this delivery.

The autoclaves are among the various heavy equipment that the PHL team is handling for the Taganito THPAL Nickel Corporation.

For the safe and quality transportation of the two autoclave units handled by PHL, a Certificate of Recognition was awarded to Royal Cargo Combined Logistics, Inc. during the Monthly Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) TJCP and Contractors Toolbox Meeting held last May 2012.

For his exemplary performance and successful implementation of TJCP Safety Programs and Policies, a Certificate of Recognition was likewise awarded by TJCP to Jose Bayani Vasquez, one of PHL’s riggers for this project.
