22 May, 2017 by Reymer Salvador

Royal Cargo, Inc. Specialized Cranage and Lifting Team successfully completed the jetty scope of the Shell LPG  Demolition project in partnership with Presam Construction and General Services, Inc. (PCGSI) last March 19, 2017 in Tabangao, Batangas City. Royal Cargo was tasked to clear the jetty area with the lifting of five units of loading arms and appurtenances with 38 tons being the heaviest load.

“The team was able to finish the project five days ahead of the schedule and this barely happens, considering the challenging and risky lifting,” said Albert Nanez, the Overall Operations and Project Manager of the said project.

The project was led by the competent people of Royal Cargo including Gundolf Ahrens, Head of Specialized Lifting and Cranage; Mary Grace Camanero, Key Account Manager; Albert Nanez, Operations Manager & Project Manager; Manuel Tibayan; Sr. HSSE Supervisor – Safety Officer In-Charge and Cristopher John Lucero; Project Engineer and Design assisted by Dexter Ochoco, SCL Engineer. (Photos Courtesy of PRESAM)
