Royal Cargo Vietnam, a member of the Project Cargo Network, recently completed a complex project cargo shipment involving 23 packages of Mixer Settler Modules and Knit Coalescing Filters, transported from Phu My, Vietnam, to Fremantle, Australia. This successful delivery underscores our expertise in handling oversized, high-value industrial equipment specifically fabricated steel modules ranging from 287,336 to 1,778.36 CBM, even under the most challenging circumstances.
Our team supervised the complete transport process, which included trucking and port operations, beginning with factory pickup and concluding with delivery at Ba Son Port in Phu My. This involved a 40-kilometer inland journey that utilized 12 specialized trucks designed to manage over-length (OL) and over-height (OH) dimensions, with some packages measuring up to 11. 665 meters long. Each pickup, typically scheduled in the late afternoon, required a two-hour inland transport, with precise coordination to ensure both safety and efficiency.
Despite environmental and logistical challenges, the Project Operations team at Royal Cargo Vietnam worked relentlessly, day and night, for seven consecutive days, as the project faced significant hurdles, particularly unfavorable weather conditions, and continuous heavy rain, which coincided with unexpected delays in the chartered vessel. One of the most critical requirements was to thoroughly clean all packages and perform lashing corrections before loading, strictly following Australia’s biosecurity standards. The continuous downpour made this task particularly demanding, but our team responded with grit, innovation, and exceptional coordination.
