The EU-Philippines FTA offers reduced tariffs, improved market access, and harmonized trade regulations. The company’s active involvement in these discussions demonstrates its dedication to driving logistics innovation and facilitating international trade. As the FTA negotiations progress, Royal Cargo stands ready to leverage its global expertise, ensuring that businesses in the Philippines can fully realize the benefits of this historic agreement.
Following negotiations, the Philippines and the European Union are set to hold the next round of talks in June 2025 in Brussels. Mr. Allan Gepty, Trade Undersecretary, said the target is to complete the FTA talks by 2027.
