Royal Cargo Earns GDP Recertification for Safe and Compliant Pharmaceutical Logistics

25 May, 2026 by Felisa Faith Morales

Royal Cargo strengthens its role as a trusted healthcare logistics partner by renewing its Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification for pharmaceutical warehousing and distribution.

Audited by DQS Philippines, Royal Cargo’s management system was found to be fully effective and compliant with the requirements of the Guidelines on Good Distribution Practice of medicinal products for human use (2013/C 354/01) and WHO Annex 5 Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceutical Products. The certification covers the warehousing and distribution of pharmaceutical items at Royal Cargo’s Head Office, including its Clinical Trial, Commercial, and Vaccine Depot warehouses, and remains valid until September 17, 2028

The recertification reflects Royal Cargo’s continued dedication to maintaining the highest standards in pharmaceutical handling and supply chain management — ensuring that pharmaceutical and temperature-sensitive products are stored, handled, and transported with quality, safety, and integrity at every stage of the logistics process.

Since 2013, Royal Cargo’s pharmaceutical logistics business has consistently upheld GDP standards as part of its commitment to operational excellence. Alongside this certification, the company also maintains a License to Operate (LTO) from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Drug Manufacturer for repacking and relabeling activities at its South Hub Pharma facility in Calamba, Laguna, further reinforcing customer confidence in Royal Cargo’s ability to deliver reliable and compliant pharmaceutical logistics solutions.

This renewed recognition reinforces Royal Cargo’s dedication to continuously improving its operations, investing in quality-driven systems, and supporting the evolving needs of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry through dependable end-to-end logistics services.
