25 Sep, 2024 by Cherry Pascual

In a significant step toward advancing healthcare and medical technology in the Philippines, Royal Cargo, a specialized logistics company, has entered a strategic partnership with European MedTech Services (EMTS), an independent medical device service provider for healthcare institutes and equipment manufacturers.

The partnership comes at a pivotal time as the Philippine government and various industry stakeholders work to improve the country’s healthcare and medical equipment landscape. By aligning with these national initiatives, Royal Cargo and EMTS aim to deliver customized, advanced solutions that support the efficient operation of medical equipment in hospitals and healthcare centers.

EMTS Inc., a subsidiary of Singapore-based EMTS Group PTE. LTD. will start offering medical equipment maintenance and repair services in the Philippines this September 2024. Through Royal Cargo’s extensive logistics network, EMTS will deliver customized solutions tailored to the specific needs of healthcare providers, ensuring technical efficiency in maintaining medical devices.

A key highlight of this partnership is establishing a cutting-edge workshop at Royal Cargo South Hub in Laguna to service critical medical devices with advanced technology for efficient repairs and maintenance. By centralizing operations, the hub will ensure healthcare providers have access to dependable equipment, minimizing service interruptions and enhancing patient care.
