ROYAL CARGO SEALS AIRCRAFT RECOVERY DEAL WITH MIAA

Royal Cargo, Inc. (RCI) sealed a deal with Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) as an emergency responder and contractor for handling aircraft recovery.

Elmer Sarmiento, President of Royal Cargo, Inc. together with Gundolf Ahrens; Head of Crane and Erection Department, Darryl Modelo; Vice President for Airfreight, Leodie Limcangco, Head of Sales of Crane and Erection Department, Albert Nanez; Operations Manager of Crane and Erection Department and Atty. Jesse Lagon, Associate Legal Counsel graced the contract signing ceremony held at the Board Room of MIAA Office in Parañaque City last January 7, 2019.

The mentioned deal was the result of the stalled Xiamen plane that skidded off the NAIA Runway last August 2018 which Royal Cargo successfully removed and transported using its 500T crane.

“This is a good opportunity for Royal Cargo having handling aircraft recovery as one of its new service capabilities,” said Albert Nanez, Operations Manager of Crane and Erection Department. Royal Cargo President, Elmer Sarmiento also added, “It is a pleasure for us to be the trusted partner of MIAA in the event of any aircraft retrieval. Rest assured that we will provide the best quality service through our equipment and people.”
